HIZMET in NY

Hizmet related institutions in New York formed a platform of meetings (named as New York Hizmet Platform) to increase cooperation and provide best practice recommendations. These meetings convene every two months. Locally elected representatives of Hizmet regions in New York[1] and representatives of the board members of Hizmet related institutions in New York are attendees of these meetings. From time to time, necessary experts and representatives of other institutions are being invited to these meetings. ANY Foundation serves as the “secretariat” of these meetings, and the Managing Director of the ANY Foundation serves voluntarily as the chair of these meetings. The attendees of these meetings signed a Memorandum of Understanding that shows the decisions of these meetings are not obligatory and not binding. Each member institution is governed by their respected Board of Governors in accordance with the federal and state laws, and their by-laws. This platform also elects five members to represent New York Hizmet Platform at the North East Hizmet Platform.
